Hello there!  Welcome to Jaybird's tweets. You've somehow come upon my little corner of the internet, and I hope you stay. I’m a teen girl with a heart set on fire for Jesus— A daughter of the King. I put him first, and I bring him into how I write my blog, letting him guide my reviews. And I have too many interests to write them all down... seriously, there's a lot.

    

     A big part of me is reading. I love reading a lot; it's a great joy in my life, and each book I read takes me on a journey to someplace new. My favorite book, of course, is the Bible, but to name a few others, I really like the Out of Time series by Nadine Brandes, The Ascendance Trilogy by Jennifer Nielson, and The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. My favorite genre has to be fantasy. Because when you read a good fantasy, it leaves you with a feeling of accomplishment and a homesickness for another world. I just love getting immersed in the grand adventures the characters go on and get not only action, but character development, emotion, world-building, and creative designs!

   

     Almost opposite of my love for books, I enjoy video games. But it's not so much the ones where you just go through random online games or just tap a screen and make a rolling square jump. Its the ones with a story, characters, lore, and sweet soundtracks. Seriously, I love video game music. But one reason I like video games is that it's like actually living in the fictional world and being a part of it rather than just reading it. To name a few of my favorites, I really like the Zelda franchise, Earthbound, Final Fantasy 7,  and Minecraft Story Mode. (Oh, and literally every LEGO game that ever existed.) I don't play as often as I used to,  but it's a nice way to spend some downtime every now and then.

     Another fun fact about me is that I love art. Whether it be drawing, painting, sketching, or writing comics, I'm in love with art. And like I mentioned, I draw comics. I've drawn them since I was a kid, and it's one of my favorite ways to tell a story. I mean, writing a book with pictures!? C'mon! That's perfect!

   

     I'm also a hardcore music lover. I play many instruments and just LOVE to worship. It's my number one favorite music to listen to and play. My list of unlearned or unfinished songs goes on and on and keeps growing... I'll finish those songs… one day. 

    I also love being outside, and I admire God's creation so much. It's all so beautiful! I can't believe how much detail and beauty he gave us! Reading a book outside is one of the most relaxing and hobbit-like feelings you can get; it's amazing. And climbing trees and building forts have always been a part of me, and always will be.
